An Ancient Power – a forbidden love

Gypsy Blood

Love bloody hurts (The Gypsy Blood Series Book 1)

An Ancient Power – a forbidden love.

Smart-mouthed journalism student Freely is not your average 18-year-old. Her best friend is a vampire, and they spend most weekends hiding bodies.

But when she meets the handsome foreigner, Zan, a strange magic connects them that is older than time.

Bound to him, ancient lore decrees she must learn her gypsy powers in time to protect him from the vampires who seek immortality through his blood and help him to hunt the creatures of the night.

Can she betray her friend? Will she learn to see Zan as a fighting partner only, and ignore their mutual attraction? Can she allow him to continue his line, at the expense of her heart?

Or will her love for him destroy them both?

Torn between the opposing chains of love and duty

Get ready to bleed for the heroine, Freely, torn between the opposing chains of love and duty!

A fresh take on vampire hunters: gypsies and their blood princes have what vampires want most, the key to true immortality, so the hunters become the hunted in a way that is less flat than the typical vampire and hunter tale.

Intriguing, with fun and action, too! | 5 out of 5 Stars

Gypsy Blood – Love Bloody Hurts #1 – I love this author and this book is another good read by her. The book is nonstop intrigue and suspense. The characters are likable and interesting; you’re in their corner. The sexual tension and humor between the Gypsy and the old vampire was perfect. The book moved along rapidly making it hard to put down. My favorite author is in her form, no stupid formula, just a well written story with likable characters, interesting dialog and storyline. There is vulgar language, but gratefully, it’s not overdone, and the sex is in your imagination where it belongs. No cliffhanger.
